This figure was based on a Bill Horan original. Adam McMasters The sculptor was inspired by bill figure and so were we. It’s a fitting tribute to Bills work and one which we think adds to our range of figures. The figure represents an Officer from late in the conflict. The figure was painted by Paul Derrek who we think did a great job bringing him to life.

1/9th Bust American Continental Infantry 1778

This bust was based on a photo that we found on the net. We just loved the face and thought it would make a great bust. Carl Reid did a fantastic job of capturing the character. Gerard (Tarracus on PF) did the painting, bringing this bust to life.

This bust represents one of the French army contingents that fought on the side of the Americans during the revolution. They were volunteers under the leadership of the Marquise Lauzun. They took part in a most notable action against the British where they clashed with the famous British Cavalry Officer Tarlten the Bastard. Unfortunately for him, he was chased from the field by this detachment. The regiment went on to serve in various formations right up to the present day. The bust was sculpted by Offo. They were sometimes referred to as the "Grenadiers of the Navy".  They too were sailors and not Marines and were the French Navy's Corps of Artilleryman.  The Bombardiers manned artillery in naval bases and coastal fortifications and went aboard ship, where they were employed as Gun Captains. They were truly an elite corps. Sculpted by, Offo. The Artwork Painted by Gerard.

The first recruiting centre for the marines was in the Tun Tavern in Philadelphia. The company saw action in the Trenton-Princeton campaign. In September 1776 the Marine committee of congress approved a Green Coat with White facings. With the shortage of white material the facings were changed to red in 1779. The marines were disbanded at the end of the war and were not reformed until 1798.

Sculpted by the gifted hands of Offo. The artwork was painted by the amazing Gerard.

Our apologies but unfortunately the waterfall doesn't come with the kit

This figure represents an Officer of the 42nd Highlanders 1760. This is a famous regiment with many great battle honours. The regiment fought in the French Indian Wars with distinction and also went on to fight in the American War of Independence. The figure represented here is between both wars and is a good representation of what a Highland Officer would have worn at that time.

Figure sculpted by Deigo Fortes. The art work and waterfall by Gerard
